"Zhongzi" - Glutinous Rice Dumpling

This is a rather unique Chinese "snack" because there is no equivalent in other culture that I am aware of ... except in South East Asia where you can find a Rice Dumpling wrapped in palm leaves (Zhongzis use bamboo leaves) called "Ketupat" (something like dinner rolls). Buth then, South East Asians are pretty Chinese, so to speak.

Tell me if you of such a 'snack', actually, it's supposed to be a full meal in most cases, that exists in culture other than Asian.
